Merchandise It is important to note that this IS a YARD SALE and just like any other yard sale you've ever been to, our  merchandise is available on a first come, first served basis.  We do not have multiple quantities (unless otherwise noted) of the items on this site.  WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) While we are by no means an absolute authority on the value of these items, we have done considerable research in order to bring you the the best and most affordable prices possible. It is also very important to note that MOST of the items are previously owned and are  in new or like new condition and we make every effort to point out faults as well as positive attributes of these items.    So if you see an item you like, we suggest you try and send in your order for it as soon as possible to ensure its availability. We've tried to bring you a pretty good selection of yard sale stuff, but, if you still don't see what your looking for here, contact us with as detailed a description as possible of what your looking for being sure to include a valid reply email.  We will attempt to help you find what your looking for.  It may be an email with suggestions on where to find or a direct link to what your looking for.  Basically we do the searching for you with absolutely no cost to you whatsoever.  It's just a service we provide as a good will gesture to our customers and visitors. With that said, you can see item pictures and brief descriptions on the specific categories that interest you of the items available on this site by clicking on the navigation category buttons which are located on all our pages to the left of your screen. By clicking  on the  thumbnail pictures an enlarged view of the items is possible. In most cases there are other views of the items available also that you can click on.   Once done viewing, just hit your browsers back button to return to the page you had been viewing. We set up all our pages this way, because this site is graphics intense and we wanted to save you page loading time.

Disclaimer All items are sold "as is". Most items are previously owned and not "new" they are in either new or almost new condition.  We make every effort to inspect and notify you of any noticeable defects or any extraordinary qualities of these items.   If the pictures are not sufficient then feel free to email us and ask any questions you may have.  We will be more than happy to answer them.  No returns or refunds will be accepted. All items are available on a first come first served basis and all prices are not negotiable. In an instance of multiple buyers for the same item, the item will be sold to the first buyer according to date and time of order receipt.  Unsuccessful buyers will be notified via email.   For Overseas orders: It is your responsibility to know the laws of your country and community as they apply to foreign merchandise. We will not be held responsible nor will we issue credit for items seized by the customs service or any country.

How to Order  As your navigating around our site and see an item you would like to purchase, you may click on the add to cart button at any time.  You can add multiple items before checking out by hitting the continue shopping button, or recalculate your order if you want to change quantities, as well as view the contents of your cart.     Upon submittal of your order a  confirmation email will be sent to you notifying you of our receipt of your order.  We will then send you an email verifying the availability of the items on your order form and the total cost including shipping.    You will need to reply to this email within 24 hours in order for your items to be held as it is your proof of acceptance of your orders total and that you have read our disclaimer.   Please Note that a VALID email address is required for this step.  Orders cannot and will not be processed without one.  Some free email providers (Yahoo springs to mind) only allow you so much space on their servers for your email account and will reject any new emails if your mailbox is full.    So remember to check all your information before hitting that Send button. If you DO NOT receive an order confirmation within 24 hours of placing an order via our  Shopping Cart, please email CAPE YARD SALE so we can be aware of it.

Payment United States: Types of payment accepted:  Personal Checks, Money Order, International Money Order, and Paypal Funds Transfer only.  No Credit Cards accepted at this time  If you are unfamiliar with Paypal feel free to ask us any questions or you can visit the paypal site directly by going to http://www.paypal.com it is a very popular payment choice. We will email you a Pay pal invoice with a convenient payment link if you choose to pay with your checking account or Pay pal account instead of writing a paper check or sending a money order.  It's free and it's easy to use.  Since all orders shipping charges are based on weight we need to use this option via the email invoice format.  Just choose pay pal as your choice for payment upon checkout. No items will be shipped until your check has cleared. There is a seven (5) day hold period on all orders for this purpose.   In our opinion Money Orders or Paypal  are the best way to pay as then there is no hold period while waiting for your check to  clear and the item(s) you ordered will be shipped the same day the Money Order or payment via Paypal is received.  Once availability has been determined, you will have 5 days to remit your payment or items will be placed back on the site as available.   Overseas/International: Overseas orders must be paid for by International Postal Money Order issued by your post office (not from your bank)  in U.S. funds only according the current rate of exchange.  NO other form of payment will be accepted.  Fulfillment of your order will be cancelled if payment is not received within 30 days of the order date.  Funds transfer through paypal is accepted, however, a $15.00 minimum order is required and no credit cards will be accepted for overseas orders.

Shipping United States: All shipping/handling costs are calculated on the basis of total weight of order with a minimum of $4.95 shipping and handling on orders under $10.00.  This cost will be added to the total of the items you ordered.  Items are shipped via USPS  2-3 days Priority Mail,  unless other special shipping, insurance, etc.  is requested from the customer, in which case the customer is responsible for those additional charges and for requesting insurance.     Cape Yardsale.com  is also not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items once the item is handed over to USPS.   It is the customers responsibility to provide us with an accurate ship to address and name.
